I would rather wait for a trustworthy torrent. 6.99GB omg! How are they gonna release it on DVD? Are there two DVDs or will it be released on a Dual Layer DVD?

Updated:
bitsoup.org has a proper torrent (Need_For_Speed_Carbon_Collectors_Edition-RAZOR1911.torrent) and it's only 3.94GB. Speeds aren't that great as there are about 1000 leechers, while only 2 seeders are connected to me. Still it's not too bad. I'm getting it at about 15kBps.

It doesn't really matter whether you have a home package or a office premium package. You are being limited by the number of seeders to leechers. This is quite natural for HOT torrents. Speeds will greatly improve once more people finish downloading it and when they start seeding it.

Even in bitsoup, 15kBps that I mentioned it very low. I can usually download at 48-52kBps. What's good about private torrent communities is that you have to upload everything you download, so when people finish the download, they do not just stop the torrent. They seed it until they feel it's enough.

I temporarily paused it because the high number of leechers (i.e. connections) was limiting Battlefiled 2142 download as well. I only have 50MB left in it, so once I download it completely, I would resume NFSC.

Omg! For real?

Torrents are the fastest and best way to download. In http, you need a super fast server to handle the number of downloads which is the case with NFSC right now. In torrent, all the work load is divided between computers as well as you get better routes to download.

Also in http, it's only one route to download the file no? What if that route gets congested? In torrents, even if a dozen routes get congested, you still have other routes to download the file from. (unless of course you are the one and only leecher :D)
