StuCk In My AnGelZ HeArT!!!
Hey People..

Im new into this CMS and Joomla.. Well on this fine day I wanted to Install Joomla on my local server and with the help of this tutorial http://www.slideshare.net/a_rupeshkumar/installation-of-joomla-on-windows-xp-presentation I managed to successfully come up to the 85th slide.

When I tried to install Joomla The MySQL Support was NO..

And i tried to find a solution and I found this

http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=236&t=277540

Which I tried it also

But

In that thread I did till "Right click the above placed files, select properties. Click 'SECURITY' followed by 'ADVANCED'. If the " Inherit from parent the permission" which I didnt know which file to right click. please explain me what the procedures I should take in order to rectify this problem..

PLEASE HELP..

Tnx in Advance

test the PHP settings and see if mysql libraries are loaded or not.

    No One ???????????????

    Man it says this.

Blogger tells you that if Joomla was not good with MSQL what it means that the File permission on the Windows NTFS is not configure right way.

So it says that right click those Files and configure the File Rights so that Joomla can access those files

ooppzzii.. dats my brothrs Account.. hehe... ah btw yeah it was me hu answered... ah i installed MySQL Server 4.1 and I tested in the CMD also.. and it worked :S
first, uninstall 4.1. its too old now. and install mysql 5.xx (latest in the 5 series).

next, you have to configure PHP to load the php-mysql dlls.

Best thing is remove all that PHP and mysql stuff and follow this guide to install
    Apache, PHP and MySQL
    http://www.techmalaya.com/2007/09/1...l-5-on-apache-22-on-windows-with-screenshots/

Else use WAMP from : http://www.wampserver.com/en/

    then install joomla.
