Need to get some scenes from a DVD...

Hey i have a DVD and need to get some scenes from it...and i really dont think i should download Adobe Premiere or anything coz my needs are very less...just need 2 cut some scenes and maybe convert them in to avi or mpg...and if it can hav a crop feature...much much better
So what is da software which can fulfil my needs????? Hoping for a software less than 200MB

ya machan eka thama...mata ara 24 eke opening scene ekak thiyenawa cut kara ganna...still pictures walata nam can use VLC
and ya i check torrentz and Premier was some 850MB+

Yes machan i could cut da parts...but i needed crop also ne...
so i tried HIVOLTAG3's Imtoo DVD ripper Ultimate
and it was damn cooooool!! Really awesome!! Thanx a lot!!
