The Metropolitan, a South African based firm was selected after their demonstration by the Technical Evaluation Committee. The contract which is a BOT project under the BOI is about US$ 3 million,” Mr. Wijeratna said.</p><p></p><p>The Motor Traffic Department will get Rs. 360 from every light weigh vehice license fee of Rs. 1,700. But the biggest benefit will be that the department will be able to dispose off 6 million files remain at the department, he stressed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
