New O/L Maths II paper on Jan. 17

Ending protests that candidates have been wronged by the controversial G.C.E. O/L mathematics question paper, the Ministry of Education has decided to cancel the paper and hold a fresh one in its place.

Speaking to 'Lanka Dissent', a senior official of the Ministry of Education said that the Education Minister has directed the Commissioner of Examinations to hold the Maths II paper under the new syllabus on Jan. 17th.
