LOL, you argued fasting does not worsen gastritis and even advised taking antacids and fasting, which is awful.
If fasting doesn't exacerbate gastritis symptoms why even take antacids in the first place?

Yes, fasting may exacerbate gastritis symptoms of some people with chronic gastritis (hence why the suggestion to try an antacid)
Now saying chronic gastritis is not in 50% of the world population (but many sources say it is), so it's not a concern..
Nope none of the sources say it is. The highest estimate of chronic gastritis out there is 25%.

The correct assertion would be that "H. Pylori is present in about 50% of the world population." (Which is not indicative of chronic gastritis.)
ok let's say it's 25% of the world population to make you feel good.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK544250/
Even if it's 25% or 80% of the world population, it doesn't matter. if you have gastritis fasting worsens its symptoms.
And H. pylori is just one cause of chronic gastritis. There are many others..
This doesn't invalidate fasting as an effective treatment for obesity and diabetes in 75% of the world population does it? So I don't see why you're going on about gastritis.
I can see the merit in discussing this if your earlier claim were true that fasting worsens gastritis for 50% or more of the world's population but that is simply not the case.
gastritis, nausea
Read the thread again.
Even if you have chronic gastritis you can try fasting. If your symptoms flare up during fasting get an OTC antacid short term and see if you can continue. If symptoms persist stop fasting and seek help from a medical professional. Don't rely on antacids and fasting alone to treat your gastritis.
