It’s said that the future belongs to the fiber optics and the transistor age is over now. World is getting faster and the fastest media that available in the world is light. I heard that Intel is designing a motherboard, which use the fiber optic technology.

So no doubt we will be using lot of devices, which made using the fiber optic and laser technology in the future. This is an interesting story related the laser technology from Japan.
