Daily Mirror has started acting a bit strange these days. They dont report what the army gives out to the media but "quote" from al jazeera, and un official news sources such as tamilnet(they havent quoted directly but they quoted from al jazeera and al jazeera quoted tamilnet)
The main thing to realize here is that people who read dailtmirror dont need news from al jazeera or tamilnet; they want daily mirror news. If they needed to get news from al jazeera or tamilnet or BBC its better to goto those sites and read.
Theres actually nopoint of qouting but they do it!
The second thing is even though run from a single company lankadeepa and dailymirror have different breaking news stories, daily mirror quotes al jazeera, UN, channel4(in the future they will) and AFP, and even BBC!
lankadeepa on the otherhand gives out news that are given out from the army or new that they found.
So for the time being i dumped daily mirror and switched to lankadeepa.lk
lol I privately accused dailymirror of putting bullshit stories on their freakin site but they didnt listen so i freakin not going there
