Questioning and criticizing is allowed and encouraged in Buddhism. Just because he said that Lord Buddha has said the example about mountain, I won't believe it. Even it is true I like to learn more about it. That's why I kindly asked him in where Lord Buddha has mentioned about it. That is exactly what "Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many" means. You just respect Lord Buddha's teachings but you don't understand it. That is called as 'bakthiya' in Buddhism which is discouraged to be practiced in Buddhism. 'Shraddawa' is what is encouraged in Buddhism to be practiced which means the respect comes out of understanding.You don't disturb the other people who know and practice Buddhism well than you. And I said that straightly because it is obvious from your reply that you don't understand even the basics of Buddhism.</blockquote>
