No danger to Ambatale water plant: Water Board

Ambatale water plant operations manager R.P.P. R. Rajapakse said today there was no danger to the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant due to the adverse weather experienced in the country as rumoured. Mr. Rajapaksa said that water supply to Colombo could be supplied without any interruption.

For those who don't know, Ambathale and biyagama water plants are the water purification and distribution center to the colombo and gampaha districts
So if ambathale goes down, western province is a dead province without pipeborn water.
