No more porn from midnight today

Courts today ordered the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) to block all pornographic websites listed by the police.
The order was given by the Battaramulla Juvenile court Magistrate Dulani Amarasinghe.
This was after the TRC pointed out that they cannot block all pornographic sites.
Police said the Women and Children's Bureau had handed over to courts a list of porn sites to be blocked.
TRC has given instructions to all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block these websites from midnight today, police sources said.
These measures are being taken following complaint made by the public, the sources added.
