Your Nokia cell phone can be programmed to pick up radar speed traps, when programmed your cell phone picks up the radar and alerts you on the message alert tone.
1. Enter your menu
2. Select settings
3. Select security settings
4. Select closed user group
5. Select on
6. Enter 00000
7. Press ok
8. Clear back to normal, within a few seconds your phone will display a radar sign with five zero's next to it. It is now activated.
Unfortunately only Nokia phones have this function. Cell info display needs to be de-activated. Settings -> Phone Settings -> Cell Info display
Each time you turn off your phone, or even each time you loose contact with your carrier, you´ll have to activate it again... It is done by steps 1 through 5, but the number (00000) will be already on the field as default. If you put the number 500 in the closed user group, and you go out of a store with detection ports thy will go off.
ISDN number For checking ISDN number enter *#92772689#
Sim Clock Stop :-
To view if sim clock can be stoped enter *#746025625# [*#sim0clock# ] (Sim-clock-stop is a kind of standby mode which will save battery time) May not work with all firmware versions.

If you want to unlock one of these Nokia phones:

If you want to unlock one of these Nokia phones:
    2100, 3210, ,3310, 3330, 3410, 402, 5110, 5210, 5510, 6110, 6150, 6210, 6250, 7110, 8210, 8250, 8850, 8890
(I don't have a list of US variants but they have very similar names 5110 = 5190)
then please read this tutorial, it will show you how to unlock your nokia Nokia handset for free:

Previously the only free method to unlock these phones was using a data cable and some software. Recently this has all changed! Thanks to one of our forum members MONO, there is now a free online unlock code calculator for DCT3 handsets.Visit his site at: http://www.trycktill.com/eng/

To calculate the correct code you will need to input two pieces of information:

    1) The handsets IMEI number, this is a 15 digit serial number that can be found under the battery. It can also be displayed by typing the code *#06# into your phone.

    2) You need to know what network your handset is locked to. Each network has its own MCC+MNC (Mobile Country Code + Mobile Network Code) For UK networks you these codes are:
    Network MCC+MNC
    Orange: 23433
    O2 (BT Cellnet): 23410
    Vodafone: 23415
    T-Mobile: 23430
    Virgin: 23430
    Tesco: 23410

You can view a complete list of world wide network codes here.

    Step 1
Once you have these two pieces of information simply go to MONO's site and enter them into the relevant fields.

The site will generate a single code, something like those below:
    #pw+3788267026+1#

    Step 2
Now enter the code into your phone with NO sim card in!

To access "p" just press "*" three times within one second. To access "w" press "*" four times within one second.
To access button "+" you have to press twice "*" within less than a second.

If successful you will see the message 'Phone restriction off' (if not you will get a 'code error' message).

THAT'S IT, YOUR PHONE IS UNLOCKED! ITS THAT SIMPLE!!

    Important!!
If the handset is still locked after you have seen the 'Phone restriction off' message then you must also enter a 2nd code!

The online calculator now supports lock 2! This lock is calculated using a value called GID1. In the UK depending on your network you may need to enter a 2nd code:

Orange and Virgin ALWAYS require 2 codes to be entered
    T-mobile NEVER require 2 codes
O2 and Vodafone SOMETIMES require 2 codes

Below is a list of all the GID1's values for UK networks, you can use these values to calculate lock 2. (These are HEX values):
    GID1's
    UK Vodafone E1FF
    UK Orange 0000
    UK O2 10FF
    UK Virgin 2800
    UK Tesco 0AFF
UK T-Mobile (never close lock 2)

Once you have calculated a lock 2 code using a GID1 HEX value, enter this code in the same way as code 1 but change the end value to indicate this is lock 2:
    #pw+5874589658+2#

    Update!!! 09/02/04
You can now calculate DCT3 Nokia codes using Trycktill software client. You must be online to use this software. It is very easy to use and it will calculate both lock 1 and lock 2! You can download DCT3 Codes Client V1.3 Here!
