Norton 2011 TrialReset v3.1.0 extends the trial period of Norton 2011
It may not work with future patches/updates.
NET framework v3.5 must be installed.
Instructions:
Read all before you begin. You may want to vary the installation.
If Norton is installed and expired, then uninstall Norton and restart the computer.
(If Norton is installed but has not expired, then skip to Step 4.)
1. Uninstall any versions of TrialReset. You must use that version to uninstall it first.
Delete and PURGE your Recycle Bin of all Trial Reset versions prior to this version.
2. Uninstall any previous Norton installations. Norton Removal Tool 2011.0.0.15 is included in the 'Norton Removal Tool 2011.0.0.15' folder and can also be used. Run Norton 2011 TrialReset and purge Norton remnants. Then restart the computer.
5. Disable Norton Product Tamper Protection in the "Miscellaneous Settings".
6. Run LiveUpdate until there are no more updates. (Restart the computer if required.)
7. Disconnect internet and disable Norton AntiVirus.
8. Run Norton 2011 TrialReset v3.1.0 (as Administrator) and follow the instructions.
After installation, you need to reconfigure the settings.
- Any AV flag you get is a false postive. This download is CLEAN!
- Tested on XP (x86), Vista (x86/x64), Win7 (x86/x64). It may not work with future patches/updates.
- NET framework v3.5 must be installed.
- Norton TrialReset 2011 v3.1.0 is not for Norton 360.
- If the SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRES, click on 'Subscription Status' button to confirm.
- If you want to uninstall TrialReset just click 'Uninstall'. Make sure that you uninstall TrialReset before you remove Norton.
- If necessary install TrialReset in Safe Mode (F8) using an Administrator account. Disconnect internet and disable Norton AntiVirus before you login into Safe Mode.
