Both groups have to be held responsible for the deaths and property damage. I don't think even BBS is dumb enough to believe setting some Muslim businesses on fire (which might have been insured anyway) would affect the economy of the Muslim community, what must have happened in my opinion is some opportunists (most probably members of the BBS) trying to take advantage of the chaotic situation and looting those business places for money/valuables and then setting them on fire. Again you start to sound like a Muslim 'cause most Sinhala buddhist people wouldn't consider BBS as an organization which represents the Buddhist population of Sri Lanka - until the recent attacks most Sinhala Buddhist people held BBS in contempt, however, in light of recent events it seems they were right about radical Islam taking root in Sri Lanka from the beginning. </blockquote>
