US listed firms like AT&T & Verizon pay 6%
US listed French Telecom pay 8%
machn devident gannama kiyala shares ganan eka boru wadak,smahara wita divident hambena ganata wada padu wenna puluwan e shares wala mila pahatha watunoth,habi umba blue chips wage gannwanm aulk na echhra,so oya short,mid,long term wena widiya honda shares balala ganna,analyze karanna company eka annual report ehema balala,
dividend rate depend on the earnings of the company for particular financial year we cant say exactly they give this much cuz it may be vary
but one thing for sure most companies dont give whole profit they earned (after taxation ) as a dividend cuz they use that money to reinvest on their business and grow the company that actually give us benefit cuz when they re invested their money instead of paying dividend it will increase net assets value of a share in that company and mostly higher net assets value higher capital gain
so my recommendation is when you invest dont go for dividend cuz most of the time considerable amount for dividend is payed by the companies who has higher trading values and rest cheap companies pay below Rs 2
so instead go for buying and selling which will give a higher return
