may be. office 2003 or xp and rest, But I hv Dark experiences on 2007, But in the Same PC, Open office hit the target,

and also, May be in the windows PC,, But here i talked about using it with WINE,,,, Not a built in ones,,,

I'm using FC and xubuntu and XP on a side, and I checked the tyms,,

open office with xubuntu is 11 seconds, and Office 2007 with XP, waste 21 seconds,
Ya its ture with java, and free things ,, But I only mention my experience....

and also, Don't tell about Awards offered ot micro... google for it bro... u will c there history (I'm Not telling about office, couz i didn't got enough info)
