So they will not look at what your actual data is.So if you are browsing porn or some other shitty site your IP and site you went will be logged.Regarding software --> most companies have either SCCM, Software management tools like manage engine or AVs like kaspersky which allow you to take an inventry of what you installed or ran. So that is how they know if you downloaded some shit or not.
