You must have probably heard about Olympiad competitions before. The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) brings together more than 250 participants from over 80 countries together to compete against each other. Since 1992, Sri Lanka has won 3 Gold, 6 Silver and 16 Bronze medals.
If you were born after the 1st of July, 1987 and were in school in 2006, you too can take part in the IOI. You should also be able to program in either Pascal, C or C++. In order to take part, simply fill in the application form located at http://ioi.ucsc.cmb.ac.lk/register.php
After registering, you will have to solve several problems and submit them online to this website (more details are available after registration).
