See the excitement you have machan. You are just blind over it. I know you are an audiophile or an audio lover and you like to spend lot of money even for the small improvement(talking like normal person) you gain from Audigy 2 ZS to X-Fi Platinum. yes, you have to spend money on what makes you happy and what makes you excite. Anyway you got to understand machan its not applicable to every one. Just give any of these guys a Audigy 2 ZS and ask them to choose 6800GT or X-Fi Platinum. 99% people will say 6800GT coz they already have the Audigy2 ZS which is a much better sound card when you compare with a onboard. So you can see you have a special interest here. And its not applicable to everybody. I know you are trying to pass the excitement you have to others and i saw you are telling about audio quality improvement you gain over the onboard in other threads. Since you can't impress people for it now you open a thread saying about the small CPU usage improvement. Machan describe audio improvements you get talk about 24bit, SNR, X RAM, filters, samples, clarity etc.. Then ask them to go and really hear the difference them selfs. but if they are not impressed then just leave it. Don't try to force them or make them feel good since it has small bit of CPU advantage. Its just showing only you are too excited and blind over something. Audio is something you should feel if not no use spending money for it. No need of tech specs or comparisons if you can't feel the improvement then its not for you. Anyway machan you are not alone there are thousands of audio lovers like you who like to spend money on a X-Fi so its their specific taste. So remember its not for all. I know you will say this guy haven't met with an X-Fi, When one of my friends making a kickass rig i made him buy a X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS to use with his Logitech z5500. I tried so much to make it sound good but its not the fault of X-Fi but z5500 sucks! X-Fi sounds superb with my Altec Lansing MX5021. I know a studio where they use X-Fi Elite Pro too. So i am telling after listening to X-Fi. I know its sounds better but you got to have expensive speakers and even more you got to feel that you are paying big money for a better audio improvement that you can justify. If you really can't or feel the improvement for your money then leave the specs or what others saying and go on with what you already have now. Thats it!
