A manager at Sri Lanka Cricket who faces financial allegations, B.H. Perera, better known as 'Podi Sir', has reportedly applied for residence visa in England through his office.
Facing discrepancies in several shady tender deals at SLC, he has moved after the Sports Minister decided to dissolve the interim committee and hold elections for office bearers after November.
The Ministry is presently holding an inquiry into the allegations against B.H. Perera.
His continuation as an official at SLC despite a probe against him has raised eyebrows in the cricketing circles.
