OnePlus and Oppo will raise prices for existing smartphones starting next week🔴😇🥴

In the midst of frankly insane market conditions, Oppo and OnePlus have confirmed plans to raise prices of existing smartphones and other products starting next week.

The ongoing shortage of RAM and storage has led to some rough outlooks on the year ahead, with a recent forecast predicting that the smartphone market as a whole could shrink by around 13% this year – that’s a bigger drop than we saw during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s not looking good, and OEMs in China have been predicted to deal with the worst impacts.

Now, Oppo and OnePlus have announced that their existing smartphones will be seeing price hikes starting on March 16.

Oppo’s notice says:

Dear user,
In response to rising costs of several key mobile phone components, including high-speed storafge hardware, we have made the following decision after careful evaluation: Starting from 0:00 on March 16, 2026, Oppo will adjust the prices of some of its already-released products in order to continue to ensure excellent product quality and user experience.
Currently, the products affected by the price adjustment include the Oppo A Series, K Series, and OnePlus, but do not include Oppo Find series, Reno series, and Oppo Pad series.
