There is a provision under No Foreign exchange involved basis to obtain import permission.A person known to me once sent a car in a container and it nearly got confiscated. Since he had contacts with the Minister he was able to clear it on the basis of ignorance.There is no duty waiver... You have to pay the current customs duty payable under normal circumstances. AFAIK there's absolutely no difference.</blockquote>
