These well-equipped cricket  grounds have space for 35,000 spectators each.   Sri Lanka country director for World Cup Suraj Dandeniya said that  the construction and renovation work of all three esplanades are now  complete.   Sri Lanka spent Rs. three billion for the cricket grounds and the  expenses are to be covered by the income from the World Cup cricket  matches.   Sri Lanka will host 12 matches including one semi-final.
