Parallel Port card

guys,I have an effing m/b only with serial(header),usb,firewire
i couldnt do interfacing projects with it using parallel port
is there any place with parallel port cards?what about the price?i gt one(actually an I/O card) but it's ISA

There are plenty of PCI Parallel port cards on eBay, but I don’t know if you can find one from a local shop in SL.

The other option is to use a USB to Parallel port adapter, but I don’t know how to interface a parallel communication device with a serial USB port. I have only worked with a direct parallel port using Inpout32.dll. If you use a USB converter maybe you’ll have to treat it as a serial device, guss it all depends on the driver.... but I have no idea sorry... .

Yeah bro me too,I had issues with usb to serial convertors as they don't give extact voltages as in native serial,(12V)
i don't check usb to lpt,but it may work via drivers ne?no direct i/o access,
