I would like to apologize for the inconvenience. I understand from your email that you are interested to start receiving payments with your PayPal account. However, this feature is not yet available in Sri Lanka.

Due to the different laws and financial regulation of each country, some features like receiving payments, adding funds to PayPal account or withdrawing funds to local bank account are yet to be offered in certain countries.

I know this must be frustrating for you but we are continuously working to offer more services for our worldwide customers. You will receive notification when additional services and features are available in your country.

In the meantime, we advise contacting your buyers to explore other payment options that are available to you. You could still use your PayPal account for sending payments and shop online.

Again, my sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

Thank you for your reply and I understood about the barriers of financial procedures to grant the requested facility by me. I wish those barriers will be phase out in recent future and PayPal will be able to grant payment receiving facility to Sri Lankan Accounts.

Not only me. but thousands of Sri Lankan PayPal account-holders ardently expecting this facility.
