PC doesn't boot! Please help

When I switch the PC on it swtches off in 3 seconds... I thought it might be a power supply issue so I baught a new one (a good one for 4000/= rupees) but still it is the same issue.. whenever i press the power button it starts & in 2-3 seconds it switches off.. nothing wrong with the power button. Also once in a while it keeps switched on for about 10-15 minutes & automatically switches off!

Hardware experts here,.. pls help me.. wat might be the issue? thanx

no beep sounds.. it is an AMD machine, Gigabyte board , it doesnt have that tiny speaker i guess

2. Cant be CUP over heat because even whn i switch it for the 1st time in the morning also the same scene happens.
3.XP kohoma daanaada machan machine eka on wenne nathi unama.. but mama kalin oka try kara,...its definetely not a Xp error

If you Processor and the fan have not been fixed correctly this could take place, else its the Motherboard.

Humm reset ur bios settings,look at ur mobo booklet and check the correct jumper settings to reset ur bios.
I noticed that egs had recommended u to see if ur fan has been fitted properly.did u check that?
Disconnect any unnecessary drives eg-DVD writers,secondary hard drives.
Also see if you have connected all the power lines properly.
