The flaw of Off-Line is that they cannot give AVR since the UPS is disconnected from the load when main power exists. Line Interactive on the the other hand can give an AVR because of the Boost and Buck transformer it uses but the only down side is that the Line Interactive can't charge the battery while its giving backup so relays are used to switch the battery in and out of charging and backup mode.The Panora UPS is a line interactive but has a processor of a Off-Line UPS.And I'm going to give away this UPS to my friend. The only bad thing that happened to it is the fuses for the phone line protection got blown some how.
