Bros,
Need Help........
Which Is The Better Out Of The Two ????? :oo:
Currently I'm Having a Pentium Dual Core 1.8 GHz ................

It would Cost about 9k to buy a Dual Core & about 14k for a Core 2 DUO .....
Is it worth spending 5k more for a Core 2 over the Dual Core ??????
As I've heard there'z no identical difference between the two in performance wise

PLZ HELP !!!!!!

I think you should go for the Core 2 if you have the money.
It has more Cache and is more resourceful when it comes to work..

The Dcore is a half cache version as I know.

buy E7300 or save up money from buying E7200 and OCing little! :D
As I always warn, mind the motherboard.
I tried to do that, but my mobo gives me very little OC ability. If you're buying FoxConn 45cm-s, forget OC. I don't know about other Foxconn boards, but Chinese is normally crap.
Buy Gigabyte or any other brand. They are made in china but companies are US based, so the products are better

    Where I'm now
I recommend E 5200 If you dont do much multimedia work.Coz it has 800FSB.A simple uping of a Bclk of 66MHz will put the FSB into 1066 and the core into 3.36GHz.(If the mobo supports, mobo can hold and the voltage dont have much noise in it).Clock speed matters more than cache. And without much media work you wont need those new SSE instruction sets.

    I don't know. We overclocked Suresh's E5200 to 3.8GHz on Foxconn Mars :P

Price to performance is higher on Dual Core's (not the E2xxx series, but E5xxx series)
