This is a Computer Science PhD position in my research group developing and applying deep learning to detect, classify and track fish from acoustic and video data with partners from NRC and DFO. This OGEN Fellowship includes a sizeable stipend, tuition, a travel budget and access to OGEN networking opportunities. Applicants should either have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or should be outstanding graduates of a 4-year undergraduate program with demonstrated research potential.
