Philanthropist Nahil Wijesuriya donates Rs. 270 mn to Bishop’s College

Well known philanthropist Mr. Nahil Wijesuriya has contributed Rs. 270 million towards constructing a new building for A-Level and O-Level students at Bishop’s College in Colombo. This donation aims to improve the school’s infrastructure and provide better educational resources.

Following a recent LKR 1 billion donation to the “Little Hearts Foundation” for a cardiac care complex at Lady Ridgeway Hospital, Wijesuriya’s latest contribution further supports significant educational and healthcare projects in Colombo.

The funding for Bishops’ College will facilitate the creation of modern learning environments equipped with current technologies, enhancing the academic opportunities for students
