The camera matters little mate, if you have a good eye and Knows the concepts and Rules of Photography you can make great pictures with any camera of ur choise, the reason for me to use a expensive DSLR is because of their Reliability, complete manual control, Speed and Interchangeable Lenses, Apart from that DSLRs have a Large sensor relating to much less noise, but this doesnt matter much to take a Great photograph.

Ill show u a Great example of a Exceptional Photograph made with a Point And shoot camera made in 2003, this image is extremely popular and has been featured on Photography books and Magazines, it was taken by the Photographer Foureyes.

This image was taken using a 2001 model Casio QV-4000 camera it had 4.1 Megapixels
