Planet Mars Manufacturing.
It is very expensive to send things from earth to mars. One should explore the possibility of manufacturing the products using robots initially. 3D printing is good, but does not build it in a large scale. We need to manufacture Aluminum, Glass, Iron, Steel, Concrete, Plastic, Solar Panel, Tar etc. Science Research is good thing but next mission must include metal detectors, Caterpillar to make a landing zone, Crane, Piling driller to drill for water and oil and gas, Supercomputer to do the data processing over there, etc. We need to immediately setup Gps and laser communication for the whole solar System and it should support internet. We need a desalination plant in mars.
The things would be required in order to build multiple Bio-sphere. It is stupid to keep researching for science only, since we need to send humans to Mars. This should be the first stage in the process of building things over there. Science research can be done at a faster rate in planet Mars with human mission. Cost of future missions to other outerplanet will be cheaper from Mars than from Earth.
Nasa should utilize Indian expertise in lowering space craft cost and should take other space agencies such as ESA, Chinese , Russian, Korean, Japanese, Canadian, Iranian, etc. In order to reduce cost. It should be an International initiative and not Nasa Alone. It should also include private companies also. This way we can have a base to build upon. A successful mission is vital and it needs support of all. In this age we can see that in space that international space station is a big success, due to it being an international initiative. These space missions should even take charity from people, because people of the whole world would give money. The missions are for whole of mankind. Nasa should not be ashamed of taking money from people. Even there is a option of creating a business in the stock market for manufacturing in Mars.
When international space station reaches end of its life it should not crash into earth instead the space station should either be taken to mars or make it land in the moon. A $150 billion should not go to waste by crashing it in Earth.
