but if you intend to go to a science faculty, make sure you target a special degree from day one.. that virtually guarantees a scholarship to USA for a phd, provided you do well in ur GRE +TOEFL

yeah.. thatz correct machan. but there isn't much job opportunities for physical degree holders in here srilanka.

i also did a/l's in maths this yr. i think sliit 4 yr degree is more worthy than bit 3yr degree. even in sliit we can get dip,higher dip,advanced dip, then the BSc (Hon's) degree.
Since she has done maths she can do networking in sliit. but the aptitude is over now. i'm not sure will she eligible to go to sliit this yr
