The truthy will win in the end...............
We sinhaleese dont have any ideia of the destruction in jaffna...may be a little...But not enough to lay a foundation.
True that our guys die most of the time and we hear inaccuarte news all the time but i dont any of the TV/Radio channels adhere to bringing out the truth scenario,,,
Media is also another asspect of polotics now...
Whatever said and done its the poor whi will always get affected..

i agree machan. But we cant just wait and watch while LTTE destroys our country and its ppl. Sure the army may have done some bad things. But it doesnt give them the right to rob the souls of the innocient ppl of sri lanka:(

Your statement is childish. The only thing that's destroying us are our politicians. The L.T.T.E happened because we botched up in the 80's (Kalu Juliya? remember?) we were racist then and we are racist now. Don't try to be innocent here.

One bad thing about Sinhalese is that we just can't seem to help ourselves. true the politicians wreck the country on a daily basis but that does not mean we should always blame things on politicians and sit in our arses and do nothing about it. Our country has the potential to become one of the major economic and military powers in Asia but we botch it all up because of the lack of belief in ourselves. You see that is the edge the L.T.T.E. terrorists have. They are a small force compared to our Armed Forces yet they dominate the battlefield in some areas. This comes out of the belief in themselves. Tell me if we are so keen to place the blame on politicians then why do we re-elect those very same scoundrels to power? The fault is not totally theirs but also ours.

Hay bro you cant make them go down by hacking! you think they have no backup?? They will restore it in seconds even some1 hack it. Hacking will not solve anythig. Even you hack it wasting your time. They will restore it even before you call your friends and say you did it. Just waste of time bro.:D

True it would be viewed a waste of time but on the other hand it would also be an annoyance and it would send a message to them to the effect that a war on Sri Lanka is a war on her people. Even this tiny thing is a contribution to the fight against terrorism in our motherland. Take a shephard for an example. He owns upwards of 150 sheep yet whenever one is lost he will not rest till he finds it and that is the very reason he owns those 150 sheep in the first place. If he loses one and thinks "only one no? why should I waste time searching for it when I have 149 others?". He keeps on thinking this way until he loses all his sheep and he is left high and dry. So you see small though this may be it is all these small victories and contributions that add up in the end to make the big Victory. The victory with the "V" is made up of all the victories with the "v" in it.

and one other thing is sinhalese ppl forget very easily
specially fot the politics

It is not merely a matter of forgetting but it is also because we allow ourselves to be duped and led like a blind man. For example take the support of political parties. If you take a family, if the father supports one party then the son, the grandson, the great grandson etc will automatically support the same party only for the reason that the father, grandfather etc etc supported it. Rarely do people support a party or individual because of their policies. Just because a family voted for the UNP for the past 50 years it doesn't mean that they should just continue to do so blindly. In Sri Lanka the people are politically naive. We are easily misled by political rogues. Take another example, the SLFP during the 2001 election the people screamed for their blood. They were that unpopular. Then in 2004 again the very same party this time with the former Sinhalese terrorists the JVP at their side were elected the power by the very same people who cursed them earlier!
