It's not good to download it for free.. IF you really want to use a software then go for freeware such as openoffice..
intellectuall property rights have to be obeyed.. if you're a software engineer then you will feel it..

Yes! My system running in Ubuntu! I'm having open office! in campus we have original copy of windows and office !

Good for you. I'm trying to use freeware as much as I can, but I can't ditch Windows and Office for the sake of sins.
