Dear Mr. Walatara,
I am writing to you regarding the condition of the bathroom in the apartment you rented from me. I was shocked and appalled to see the damages you have done to the toilet, bathtub and the bathroom walls.
You have left the toilet seat broken, the flush handle missing, and the bowl stained with yellow and brown marks. The bathtub is cracked, chipped, and clogged with hair and soap scum. The bathroom walls are covered with mold, mildew, and graffiti. You have also left behind a pile of trash, including empty bottles, cans, and cigarette butts.
This is unacceptable and a clear violation of the rental agreement you signed. You have not only caused me a huge financial loss, but also a health hazard and a nuisance to the other tenants. You have shown no respect for my property or for the basic standards of hygiene and decency.
I demand that you pay me Rs. 150,000 as compensation for the damages you have caused, as well as the cleaning and repair costs. You have 15 days to make the payment, or I will take legal action against you. I have attached the photos of the bathroom as evidence of your negligence and vandalism.
I hope you realize the gravity of your actions and the consequences you will face if you do not comply. I advise you to act responsibly and settle this matter as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Your former landlord
