    Police seek public info on LTTE suicide bomber


    Police have sought public assistance to gather information about the LTTE female suicide bomber who blew herself up inside the Colombo - 05 office of EPDP leader Douglas Devananda on Wednesday and released a photograph and details of the suspect.

    The woman in this photograph was the suicide bomber that blew herself up inside Hon. Minister Douglas Devananda's office on 28th November 2007. According to her Identity card she is a resident of Puliyankulam, Vavuniya. According to the Identity card, her birthday is stated as 01st January 1983. Investigators doubt the credibility of this information. The General public is requested to pass on any information that could help to establish her identity. The general public can contact the Deputy Inspector of Police, Colombo on the following numbers and provide any information that could help ongoing investigations.
