This is clearly evident from ages 54 and upwards. From age 80 upwards there are nearly twice as much women.  What does that tell you?  The gap in numbers between women and men in the US you referred to occurs in the older generations, perhaps due to women living longer. Are you saying that sinlge women in their 50s, 70s, 80s +++(most of whom are likely to be widowed grandparents) should be married off?This is likely to be the scenario in most of the European countries you mentioned as well. The figure you gave is roughly 8% of the total population. That obviously includes lesbians as well. So once again you FAIL.
