Mahela already under heavy pressure and under criticism for his batting and captaincy too to a certain extent, then he goes off for tests away... and away tours are always hectic and pressure, and it is more likely that this away tour might not yield good results and maybe Mahela thought if I go on this tour... which is naturally difficult to win, and loose that tour too.... I will almost derinfitly will be sacked because then 2 series back to back losses in both form of the game!So he might have felt better to announce his retirement as captain and go on with the tour.. which is deffa less pressure for him? what do ya'll think?</blockquote>
