    192.168.1.2 Doesn't work for me :)

for belking routers it is 198.168.2.1, i was just saying generally, use the gateway ip address and log into your router config menu and just enable DMZ . it will forward all your incoming ports to your PC ip (all the ports, u do not have to type the port number).

basicaly it will link your WAN IP to your PC IP
    ex - 238.196.1.10 = 192.168.2.3

so everytime you type your WAN IP (ISP IP) from outside, you will connect to your PC from anyware in the world.

    @lahirumam

Are you sure that IP address 192.168.2.1 is correct ? shouldn't that be 192.168.1.1 ?

Default gateway IP is different for different router brands.

find your default gateway IP address --> right click on network connection -> properties -> support

somehow your WAN IP has been already forwarded to your LAN IP.

PS - if you do not have a router you may not need to do port forwarding as all the data coming directly to your pc

my ports cant b forwarded. lol. i got a pretty shit router (prolink). torrents work fine. but tried everything to create virtual servers. no luck at all.

most of the routers have this DMZ function if the router have more than one RJ45 connection.

unfortunate if you can not do this lol :)

    port forwarding is important for

    Web Servers
    IP camera survailance
    Multiplayer games
    Remote windows admin
    and many more

We have already discussed how to forward the ports on your router by typing 192.168.2.1 and changing the DMZ or Virtual server settings. please use the serach button to look for it.
i personaly do not think it is a good idea to let any websites to change your port or firewalls and forward all the incoming trafic to your pc instead of doing it by your self manualy.

    regards

the given IP addy is not the default address for mosr of the routers, and that site is a DIY and it does not get any kind of trafuc info of ur pc.basically that site is good for the starters who wanna know how to open up the ports in their router ;)
