මම මගේ පරණ ADSL Unlimited line එක අර අලුත් එකට මාරු කලා (වෙබ් ෆැමිලි )
හේතුව මම ගොඩක් download කරන්නේ නැහැ එක නිසා වැඩිපුර වේගයක් ලැබෙන නිසා
තමා වෙනස් කලේ
එත් මට ලැබෙන්නේ අර පරණ 512kbps එකෙන් ලැබෙන වේගයමයි
ඒ කිනන්නේ 60kbps download වෙනකොට පෙන්වන්නේ download managers සහ ටොර්රෙන්ට් වල

මම මේක SLT අයට කිව්වා ඒ අය කියනවා ඔයා ඉන්නේ දුර වැඩි නිසා 8Mbps දෙන්න බැහැ 4Mbps වලට limit කරලා දෙන්නම් කියල මම කිව්වා කමක් නැහැ දෙන්න කියල එත් එන්නේ අර පරණ 512kbps speed එකමයි

මට දැනගන්න ඕනේ ඕක මාරු වෙන්න දවස් දෙක තුනක් යනවද ?
මෙහෙම speed එකක් එනවනම් මම මේ connection එක අයින් කරලා dongle එකක් ගන්නවා

I have changed my ADSL 512 unlimited connection to web family (25gb)
still getting 512 line speed
how much day It will take become a at least 4mbps speed
I got a call
they told me u can not give 8mbps coz u far away from exchange
coz they limit to 4mbps
the thing is still getting 512kbps

I also have a similar problem. Currently I have the old 512k old package and its speed is extremely slow. Even I cannot browse webpages while downloading a file. One of my friend told me that the speed can be gained by changing the old package to a new one. But I am not sure about this. However, recently I changed my old PROLINK HURRICANE router to a new D-LINK DSL-2730U and now the speed is 'somewhat' ok. Anyway, the customer support service of SLT is really sucks. Sometimes they take around one week to finish an enquiry. But better if you remind them continuously if you couldn't get the work done. Then then they will do it quickly....
