The Minister added that Sri Lanka post has suffered considerable losses due to the strike action.Convenor of the Postal joint trade union collective Chinthaka Bandara noted that the strike action would continue for a 7th day today and that no officials have responded to their demands.According to Bandara, the strike action has led to the pile-up of over 300,000 letters at the central mail exchange as well as over 1000 bundles of foreign mail at the BIA.</blockquote>
