hey guys,

After 3 years of usage, my power supply blew up one day also burning out my rams and Mother board.
so im now planning on building a new rig.

Core i5-750 2.66ghz (quad-core, 8MB Cache)
Intel® Desktop Board DP55WB
3GB DDR3 RAM
Invida Gforce 7300GS 256MB DDR2
250GB HDD (old hard from previous rig)

I am looking for a power supply which fits this system. I can't spend a 5 figure sum on this. so im looking for something around 8000? or less.
Does anyone here have the same system. if so pls recommend.
i would be mainly using it for video editing and a little bit of 3DS MAX. and mayb a weee little bit of gaming. (i'm not an avid gamer).

Please help

Thanks in advance.

also burning out my rams and Mother board - Its not possible. im 100% sure.
(Even lightning/surge damage only kill motherboard and RAMs)

GeForce 7300GS ? why this VGA ? If you're planing to run latest games, this vga not enough at all. If not, why you choose high-end processor ?

    suggest you get 500watts PSU.
you check your power requirement here:
    educations.newegg.com/tool/psucalc/index. html

may I also suggest to upgrade your
video card << at least 9800 series
RAM << at least 4 GB

    hope it helps
