President attends commemoration ceremony of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment

Dec 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa as Commander-in-Chief was the chief guest at the annual commemoration ceremony of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment held today in Ambepussa. Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment formed in 1956 is the only rifle regiment of the Sri Lanka Army. It currently consists of 10 regular units and 5 volunteer units.
