Privacy and law in Sri lanka

Is there any lawyer around to kindly explain the current law and the power's police have on the below mentioned.

1. is it illegal to have porn in mobile phones ? now I know it sounds stupid, but every now and then most of us have even a picture

(nowadays even a low budget Chinese phone offers many facilities and being a guy will fill in the rest of the story)

2. can the police examine (read ur text, see the files) a mobile phone or laptop that is with me.

(if I'm stopped at a checkpoint or somewhere)

Yes, under Penal code of Sri Lanka & with its latest amendments, u cant be in possession of such material.
