For people who adore private health care:-

One of my uncle who was treated in private sector referred for a scan due to an urinary problem. Scan showed a some problem (nodules) in the prostate. Then he was directed to a GU surgeon. He has suggested a cystoscopy.

(What he need is PSA and if necessary biopsy of the prostate. But it has no income for the surgeon, so he suggested cystoscopy which gives him something but nothing for patient.)
As they discussed with me finally they decided to go back to the government sector as I do not support/ assist with any private sector management.

If I was not there they will spent another 10 to 20000 for nothing and will never know that what happened was useless and keep praising the private sector for doing lot. This is the truth behind others who praise the private sector also, their knowledge is so poor to understand that they were screwed.

Few months back I published an incident at Nawaloka hospital where one of my cousin who went to take treatment for cough underwent multiple referrals and paid 30000 but problem was solved in ragama hospital. (One doctor who was working in Nawaloka OPD commented their saying that OPD in charge doctors were pressed for targets by the management. This is why lot of good doctors who do correct practice in government sector does crazy things in private sector. Simply because management of these big private hospital select and keep the people who generate profits for the hospital.

So my advice is if you really want to get treatment from private sector, first go to a government sector hospital and get a clear plan. Then go to private sector only to follow it.

This post is only for the people with brains and who want proper treatment for the illness and not using illness to showout the social standards.
