Problem bout 9600GT VGA card

    Hey guyz Im gonna buy a Nvidea Geforce 9600GT 512mb VGA card!!
    But some one told me that it requires a alternative PSU which is called for it to work & Im so confused guyz this is much more expensive!!
    Is this true & if itz then bout how much the PSU would cost??

    HOLD ON GUYS !!! Wattage is not the only requirement !!!!

    I don’t have a 9600 GT but I think it needs an external 12V power input. And from what I could find out on the net it requires a 12V lead that supports least 26A. But most low end (unbranded) PSUs have less than 20A on the 12V. If that is the case then you might need a better PSU. Check the PSU and see if it supports 26A or more on the 12V.

    I have an old 7950 GTX, it clearly said the power input should be 12V with at least 18A rating.
