They do not justify make no reason or argument. Comparing to Buddhism such religions are so primitive regardless which teaching is much more truthful .But take one catholic and Buddhist in day to day life. Can you see any remarkable difference of their actions, Behavior ? (Of coz its ok to kill animals for meat in some religions but Buddhism, then take Hindu and Buddhist and apply the theory)Knowing all that complex theories like Nirvana, reincarnation and Karma does it make you noble than me ? You have to work through it and see the light for yourself through perseverance. And Im just not ready to scarifies the simplicity of my life in order to achieve it. Now answer for your question. Why decent ? Because Im hardwired to take joy of helping others , in every possible way. You may ask why againWell the word "hardwired" explains it. That means you dont rationalize or reason. Decency is widely accepted idea through the society being decent helps you to cope with it. And I enjoy being decent in some ways. Thats it I dont care for father explanations  Just like catholic people does not seeking for further explanations as I mentions initially  If you ask why again that means you need some medical care rather than attain nibbana.   </blockquote>
