Decency, morality, and goodness are highly appreciated in the society. Therefore, you can earn some rewards if you are a decent and good person. On the other hand, if you are not decent,  you may receive some sort of social rebuttal. So, is that the reason you are being decent? If so, it means that you are being decent because you get desirable consequences when you are decent.</blockquote>
