The question is about scientifically proving the existence of God.The lecturer told the students that formation and the nature of the universe is there in the Quran long before the scientists came with the theories. Therefore this information can only come from the Creator. Therefore the Creator and Islam can be considered as scientific. But this answer is not scientific at all. To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empirical" target="_blank">empirical</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Measurement" target="_blank">measurable</a> evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning.  By the way, Prophet Muhammad spoke about these things 1400 years ago. But Lord Buddha who had clearly rejected the concept of a Creator had preached about the formation & the nature of the universe 2500 years ago<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/happy.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Happy    :)" data-shortname=":)" /></blockquote>
